Our March 25th Guest Pianist -
Emma made her debut with Nalchik Philharmonic at age of 16 performing “Fantasia on Themes of Ryabinin” by Russian composer Anton Arensky (1861-1906). She participated in different Master Classes at Saratov, Rostov, Moscow, Nalchik, Tver. While at Saratov State Conservatory Emma lead an intensive concert life as a soloist and an accompanist. She won many competitions in solo performances and accompanying. At Tver State College and Nalchik State College she taught special piano, chamber music, accompaniment, and appeared regularly as soloist with many symphonic orchestras. In February of 1990, Emma settled in Buffalo after she left Russia. In the Greater Buffalo Area she has appeared in recitals at the Erie Community Public Library, Rockwell Hall, Allen Hall, Kleinhans Hall and Lancaster. She also played Concerto #2 by Franz Liszt with the Cheektowaga Symphony Orchestra . Since 2004 Emma has been a pianist with the Chopin Singing Society. |
